The agreement

Terms of service

These terms explain what you can expect from Tidelob and what Tidelob expects from you.

Effective August 27, 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Using Tidelob

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. Keep account information accurate, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Your writing remains yours

You retain ownership of the drafts, posts, images, publication identity, and other material you create or upload. You give Tidelob a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, back up, and display that material only as needed to operate the service and carry out your publishing choices. The license ends when the material is deleted, subject to reasonable backup expiry and legal obligations.

3. Public publishing

Publishing makes the selected revision available to the public, search engines, readers, and Tidelob’s public content API. You are responsible for having the rights to publish your content and for its accuracy, legality, and disclosures. Tidelob does not endorse a creator’s views.

4. AI assistance

AI features can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. They may suggest questions, edits, ideas, or drafts, but you must review all output before relying on or publishing it. Tidelob does not treat an AI inference as your belief unless you confirm it. Do not submit material to an AI feature unless you are permitted to process it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Tidelob to break the law; violate privacy, intellectual-property, or publicity rights; distribute malware or spam; deceive readers through impersonation; harass or exploit people; evade security controls; scrape private areas; or interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms.

6. Plans, renewal, and cancellation

Premium is offered for $15 USD per month or $144 USD per year unless Checkout shows a different price before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected cadence until canceled. You can cancel through Stripe’s Customer Portal in account settings. Unless Checkout states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and Premium remains available until then.

7. Refunds and failed payments

Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits, except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase. Stripe processes payment information. If payment fails, Premium access may be limited after any displayed recovery period; your ownership of existing content does not change.

8. Beta service and changes

Tidelob is a public beta. Features may change, experience interruptions, or be withdrawn. We will not deliberately make material changes to paid terms without reasonable notice. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will ask for it.

9. Termination and deletion

You may stop using Tidelob and delete your account through settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations, security risk, or legal necessity. Deletion behavior is described in the product and Privacy Policy; some billing, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records may be retained.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tidelob is provided “as is” and without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free AI output. Tidelob is not professional legal, medical, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, Tidelob will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact page. Governing-law and operator-address details will be added before general availability; the service is currently offered as a public beta.
